Fourteen years along the coast

I grew up watching my father rebuild washing machines in our garage in Bakersfield. By sixteen I could swap a compressor blindfolded, and by twenty-two I had my EPA certification and a beat-up van full of tools. I moved to the Palisades in 2009 to fix a single Sub-Zero for a family friend — and never left.

I founded Pacific Palisades Appliance Repair in 2011 on three stubborn beliefs:

1. A technician should look you in the eye and tell you the truth. Flat-rate diagnostics. No upselling. If it’s not worth fixing, I’ll tell you.
2. OEM parts are worth the wait. Aftermarket knockoffs void warranties and fail again in six months. We source from factory distributors, full stop.
3. A house is not a worksite. It’s someone’s home. We bring shoe covers, floor runners, and drop cloths — and we leave a kitchen quieter than we found it.

The team

These days I lead a tight team of four factory-trained technicians — every one of us certified on Sub-Zero, Wolf, Miele, Thermador, Viking, and Gaggenau. We answer our own phones. We show up when we say we will. And the technician who diagnoses your appliance is the technician who fixes it.

A promise to our neighbors

When January 2025 took so much of our town with it, we made a standing commitment: a 15% rebuild discount on every service — repair or installation — in any home that was damaged or destroyed in the Palisades fires. No paperwork, no expiration, no upper limit. Read more →
